                                                SSAB Laser® 420MC Plus is an advanced high yield strength cold forming steel, optimized for laser cutting.

                                                The SSAB guarantee for flatness is ≤ 3.0 mm/m deviation, both before and after laser cutting. SSAB Laser? 420MC Plus meets and exceeds the requirements of EN 10149-2. Dual material certification is available upon request.

                                                SSAB Laser® 420MC Plus is by far the optimal choice for critical post-cut cold forming operations. The minimum inner bending radius at 90? angle can be 0.0 x thickness. No need to consider rolling direction when designing nesting. SSAB Laser® 420MC behaves the same in all directions. Impact energy is guaranteed to be ≥ 40 Joules at -60 ?C allowing for use in arctic conditions or in any situation where increased toughness is beneficial.

                                                Like all grades in the SSAB Laser® product family, SSAB Laser® 420MC Plus is the result of total production process control. The chemical composition, with low Sulphur, phosphorous and silicon content, is consistent from batch to batch. The rolling process, optimized to perfection, results in a thin, smooth and extremely adhesive micro-scale. The exactly right surface roughness eases problem-free laser cutting.

                                                The SSAB Laser® product family consists of hot rolled plate and sheet and cold rolled sheet with yield strength levels up to 460 MPa. All products benefit from superior steel cleanliness, well balanced and consistent chemistry, optimized for laser cutting and narrow and consistent dimensional tolerances.

                                                SSAB Laser® 420MC Plus is available in thickness of 3.00 - 12.00 mm and widths up to 1860 mm as cut to length. Length up to 16 meters.
